Rust Barrier Rust Preventative Coating

Dupli-Color® Rust Barrier High Solids Rust Preventive Coating is formulated to be applied directly over rusted or bare metal surfaces. Using our exclusive Rust Barrier Technology, this coating seals corrosion and provides an abrasive, impact resistant, flexible rubberized finish. Rust Barrier is easy to apply by brush, roller, HVLP spray gun or aerosol. If needed, this product can be topcoated for areas exposed to increased UV light.

How To Use

  • Usage
    Frames, suspension components, brush guards
  • Prep
    Prepare surface by removing all loose paint, dirt, rust, grease, wax, etc. For best results use a quality grease and wax remover to clean the surface. Scuff the surface by using a wire brush or equivalent. Wipe down the surface again with a grease and wax remover, then let dry.
  • Clean Up Disposal
    Use regionally compliant cleaner for cleaning purposes

Use at temperatures between 60 °F (16°C) and 95°F (35°C) and when humidity is low
