How To Use

  • Usage
    General-purpose use. Metals, wood, or fiberglass.
  • Prep
    Prepare surface by removing loose paint, dirt, rust, grease, wax, etc. Use Dupli-Color® Prep Spray PS100 to clean surface. Lightly sand surface with 600 grit sandpaper, wet or dry. Wipe surface down again with Dupli-Color® Prep Spray PS100.
  • Application
    To spray, hold can parallel at 8-10 inches from surface to be painted and use in an even, sweeping motion. Apply 2 light coats followed by 1 medium wet coat. Apply all coats within 1 hour, allowing 10 minutes between each coat. For additional coats after 1 hour, wait 7 days for paint to cure. Dries to the touch in 1 hour. Can be handled in 3 hours.
  • Clean Up Disposal
    Use regionally compliant cleaner for cleaning purposes

Dupli-Color® Multipurpose Foaming Prep Cleaner is a fast-drying, waterborne formula designed to remove wax, oils and other contaminants from the surface with no residue. The foaming action allows for easy application on horizontal and vertical surfaces and it will not affect recently painted substrates. Safe to use on metal, aluminum, fiberglass and plastic.
1K Clear Coat
Dupli-Color® 1K Clear is a high performance clearcoat recommended for use over any Dupli-Color® product for added protection, appearance and performance. The modified urethane formulation provides a high-quality gloss finish, film hardness, gasoline resistance and UV protections to deliver best in class clear coat results. 1K Clear features a spray-anyway, fan spray nozzle for superior flow, leveling and sag resistance for a smooth consistent application. 1K Clear is heat resistant up to 250°F intermittenly and can be used for interior, exterior and under-hood applications.
