Description

The bike was black from top to bottom and I personally found it very boring. In the past I’ve had numerous painters who never get me the service or results I had hoped for so I felt this time around, it was my turn to once again challenge myself. I figured, why not give it a go. Keep in mind, this is June-August where every day was 90-105°. Basically I had no clue on the design so took some pinstripe tape and just started taping. Crazy enough, the design was done in 2-3 days. Before I know it, I have all my parts seperated, hanging from a canopy in my backyard and I’m laying down layer after layer. The colors were not planned, I just picked each layer color as I went. In the end, from the custom designed swingarm to the red striped front fender, I felt I stuck well to the classy look but giving it an aggressive look. After taking on this project and using nothing BUT Duplicolor products, I now have confidence to do future bike builds!
