SHIFT Color Shifting Paint

Dupli-Color® SHIFT is a unique, color-shifting metallic pearl flake paint that changes color based on light, surface angle and contour. SHIFT is formulated to achieve the MAXIMUM color-shift effect over BLACK or dark colors; however, the color shift will occur over any base color surface. This makes SHIFT ideal for use on vehicles, motorcycles, bicycles or anywhere this unique color-shifting paint is desired.

How To Use

  • Usage
    Metal, Chrome applications
  • Prep
    Clean and degrease with a Dupli-Color prep product. Mask-off any areas to protect from overspray. Scuff pre-painted surface with redscuff pad or 400-grit sandpaper. Clean surface again with a Dupli-Color prep product.
  • Application
    Shake can vigorously for one full minute after mixing ball moves freely. Shake can for 10 seconds after each minute of use. To spray, hold can parallel at 8-10 inches from surface to be painted and use in an even, sweeping motion. Apply 2 light coats, followed by 1 medium wet coat with 10 minutes in between coats. Dries to the touch in 20 minutes. Can be handled in 1 hour. Recoat anytime.
  • Clean Up Disposal
    Use regionally compliant cleaner for cleaning purposes
