Dupli-Color® Effex™ Clear Coat is formulated with prism flakes that provides a brilliant rainbow metallic effect over any non-metallic paint. Available as a clear top coat which allows the base color it is applied over to shine through. Ideal for accessories like body molding, hood scoops, mirrors and spoilers.

How To Use

  • Usage
    Ideal for automotive accessories, bikes and helmets
  • Prep
    Prepare surface by removing dirt, rust, grease, wax, etc. For best results, use a Dupli-Color Prep Wipe (PW100) or Grease & Wax Remover to clean surface.
  • Application
    To spray, hold can parallel at 8-10 inches from surface to be painted and use in an even, sweeping motion. Apply 2 light coats, followed by 1 medium wet coat with 10 minutes in between coats
  • Clean Up Disposal
    Use regionally compliant cleaner for cleaning purposes

The modified urethane formulation provides a high-quality gloss finish, film hardness, gasoline resistance and UV protections to deliver best in class clear coat results. 1K Clear features a spray-anyway, fan spray nozzle for superior flow, leveling and sag resistance for a smooth consistent application. 1K Clear is heat resistant up to 250°F intermittenly and can be used for interior, exterior and under-hood applications.
