After many years and many miles, the team brought this vintage 1971 Honda CB350 Café Racer back to life. So we took it apart, restored and restyled it right in the Dupli-Color® Garage. For the engine, we needed something that would hold up to intense heat, so we used Dupli-Color Satin Black Engine Enamel, then applied Dupli-Color High Performance Bronze Wheel Paint to the front forks and muffler ends of the exhaust for a pop of color.
Moving onto the wheels, we used satin black on the outer rims, spokes and hubs to make them stand out. This color was also used on some smaller parts including brackets and the handlebars to get a uniform look.
For the gas tank, fenders and headlight bucket, we used Dupli-Color Perfect Match® Universal Black as a basecoat, combined with our 1K High Gloss Clear as a protective topcoat. Then we gave it away to one lucky Dupli-Color sweepstake winner who now has one of the best-looking vintage bikes on the road.
