1979 Chevy El Camino

1979 El Camino Restoration - Intro

The Dupli-Color® guys and Jessi Combs (yes? THAT Jessi Combs) get together to plan out how they'll be restoring the 1969 El Camino. Why the Elco? We wanted something different, original, unmolested and relatively rust and dent free. We also wanted a vehicle that many DIYers might be familiar with. And lastly, we needed something on which we could demo a lot of our products. Then we decided the best way to show the transformation was to restore ONLY HALF of this vehicle. Yeah, laugh it up now... you'll be amazed how this car gets transformed into a looker instead of a laugher!
