Dupli-Color® Plastic Adhesion Promoter improves adhesion of enamel and lacquer top coats to all surfaces, including plastic and chrome. Adhesion Promoter is an all-purpose clear primer ideal for both interior and exterior applications.

How To Use

  • Usage
    Bare plastics and vinyl
  • Prep
    Prepare surface by removing loose paint, dirt, rust, grease, wax etc. For best results use a grease and wax remover to clean the surface.
  • Application
    To spray, hold can parallel and 8–10 inches from surface and use in an even, sweeping motion. To avoid runs and sags, apply 2–3 light coats, allowing 3 minutes between each coat. Apply topcoat within 10 minutes of last adhesion promoter coat. Covers approximately 12–14 square feet. After each use, invert can and spray until clear gas comes out. If spray button becomes clogged, wear eye protection and wipe off orifice with lacquer thinner
  • Clean Up Disposal
    Use regionally compliant cleaner for cleaning purposes
